yoitsarson
The first day I got him he was fine and scooting around, the next day he looked like he was molting and hiding under a rock but still visable. Fast forward 3 days and I cant find him, I have looked under rocks, corals, on the floor, and even in fuge thinking he got sucked in but he is nowhere to be found. Could he jam himself in a tiny crevice? And is this common? Link to comment
Travis
It's possible. When my cleaner molts, I won't see him for about 4 or 5 days or so. They hide out of instinct. When they molt, their new exoskeleton is still soft and if they where in the wild they would be very vulnerable to predators. Link to comment
