NICE!!

Thank you!

Didn't realize these guys could heal as quickly as they are...makes me less nervous about cutting them up.

Darn--I thought you were gonna show us the new razor blade...

:D J/k!

Those are really nice! Congrats!

We all knew you were when you said it ;)

nice are they hard to keep?

Mine haven't been - and many people consider them a pest since they multiply so quickly

Are these S. tapetum? Someone locally just put them up for trade on our club board and all he knows is that they are called rock anemones.

...with my new MAXIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they have a fairly long stalk, then they're borneman nems - hard to tell from that pic.

**Preemptive strike, since I know you'll say it, Adin - will post pics of the maxis when I've got them off the massive rocks and settled in the tank a bit. Looks like 3 different color variations

i need this one:

That thing would be a MONSTER in your tank :) - 3.5" (and it's still ticked off). Then again, I'm sure it wouldn't be that big for long :)

The "baby" one on the bottom right of that rock has the same coloring I think - its about 1.5"

The others are all 3+", except that 1st green one - about 1.5" for it.

Competition? I doubt that! running off with razor blade in hand

My fiance's almost as obsessed about them as I am now:

I should get pictures first, afterall you will have to live with me. :) Now break the rock, place them in the tank, and get me some pictures. :naughtydance:

:D

Current mini carpet tank:

15g +10g sump, 25ish pounds live rock between the two tanks, chaeto and xenia in the sump, running ~150gph through it.

Display has a K2 and minijet 606 for circulation. 150w Sunpod, stock bulb. Corals are Montis, yumas, and a few zoanthids/paly grandis. A few more mini carpets and the corals are going to the other tank.

Anemones:

Sebae (came with the clowns) - about to be moved

Borneman anemone

Mini carpets - something like 25 mini minis...guessing a bit on that. Now 6 maxi minis.

Its definitely time to make a tank thread :)
