SmartaZaWhiP
Hey all, I know I know, I don't have a picture but I thought I would try and describe this thing to you. After performing a water change, I moved my Montiporus Capricornus and discovered a weird greyish snail like thing moving away at almost four times the speed that a "normal" snail would travel. It had two antenne, and a minature flat shell with a blue dot on it. This creature moves very fast. I have seen it before, but only for seconds at a tine as it is so fast. It moves so fast, that I can't seem to ever get a picture of it. I just worry that perhaps it's poisonous. Does anyone out there know of such a creature?? Again, sorry for no pic. Link to comment
Satchmo
It's either a limpet or a stomatella. Great little guys to have. Link to comment
Crakeur
want the keyhole limpets that are all over the office reef? they're the size of a quarter and I have counted at least 15. Link to comment
Satchmo
Hells yeah. Snag me one next time, that would be great. Link to comment
zizmans
I read those keyholes can adhere to the rock with 70 lbs of pressure Link to comment
Crakeur
yup. takes a ton of strength to yank them off the glass. SAtch no longer wants them as I have explained that we have seen the limpets plow thru zoos and apparently munch on soft corals. Link to comment
