Hi everyone,

My tank has been up for about a month now and I am so proud to say that I am a proud owner of a nano-reef.

Here are the specs:

4 gal. TruVu Plexi

2x13 watt ( 1 actinic, 1 7100k)

Rio 400

Ebo-Jager 50watt

Rainbow Lifegard digital Thermometer

4lbs live sand

8lbs live rock

Live stock:

green sea mat

star polyp

cleaner shrimp

1 turbo snail

lots of critters that came with the LS

dwarf zebra lionfish

I want to thank everyone for their advice and knowledge. I'll be posting pics this weekend. This site has been such a great help and now I have a couple of friends that are going to join the Nano-Reef family.

P.S.

I know there is going to be some members that are going to beat my booty for the lionfish.

:angryfire: u monkey butt ! haha....

even though it might be small right now, it will get bigger. 4 gallons is just WAY too small to keep one of those. If you still want to keep the lion, I would suggest at least a 20gallon.

don't try unless they're frozem silversides. My cousin has one in his 120. keep rockwork in there because it likes the cling on it when they're stressed or hiding for prey.
