summers.enemy Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Hello again everybody! Well I think I'm on the right track with my tank now and it seems to be cycled. And I've come back from vacation so here I am with some leftover money thinking that I need a fire shrimp! Just a quick question for ya'll though before I go buy one tomorrow. If I get a fire shrimp, is it possible to mix it with a few sexy shrimp later on? Or is it 1 shrimp per tank? I'm just worried that the bigger fire shrimp would kill the cute little sexies. As always, would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!
Duncan Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 It's fine. I used to have a fire shrimp with 3 sexies. No problem. I even got a pair of cleaner shrimp in the tank too. But you should never try fire and coral band combo. They will kill each other, in my experience. (My $3 1 week old coral band killed my $20 1 year old fire shrimp, )
summers.enemy Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 Awesome. Thanks so much, I'm off to buy the fire shrimp shortly and maybe I will get the sexies now if they are in stock also!
Scott Riemer Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 I don't think putting shrimp in a mixer is a good idea. Sorry, just kidding around, good luck.
