bilge rat Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 -how essential are wave makers in a "nano reef" (34gal cad)? -i understand the concept just don't if its relevant/achievable/realistic in a "nano reef" -do having/not having waves restrict on corals and livestock? there is a wave maker powerstrip with 3 maxi-jets combo at drs fosters and smith im eyeballing... joshuah
One Eyed Bunny Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 1. Not essential at all. I feel they aren't practical all. 2. It's achievable. People have. Check the Member's tank 3. No, they don't restrict coral growth. It may stimulate coral growth, but I wouldn't put much faith in it.

(whatever you do dont cross the streams)
