smedge Posted September 4, 2008 Share Posted September 4, 2008 if you mixed colors or types of mushrooms into 1 blender then dispersed it...would they cross link and form hybrid mushrooms? or do they just grow from the single little pieces of original mushroom? They would not "crosslink". For them to do that they would have to sexually reproduce; something that to my knowledge has not been achived in captivity. This blender method is a way of asexually propogating them. All you are doing is chopping them into little pieces then letting each piece regenerate. Link to comment

I came, I blended, I conquered. It worked really well for me and theres was lots of mishaps along the way that would have made this tank unsuccessful but persistence pays off. The smell wasn't that bad if you didn't stick you nose right over the bleded cup of shrooms. Link to comment
