maroonclown05
nice tank you've got - i like your rockwork.. a bit of advice though, i think that tangs usually require a larger tank than 20 gallons to swim in.. most people keep tangs in 100+ gallons also.. i dont know if you have an algae problem or not but tap water is generally not recommended for top off water, im not sure how the tap water is in korea though- hope u can use this info =) Link to comment
rrr757
wow thats a great tank, and great picture Mickey (rrr757) http://www.indiahouston.com/tank Link to comment
awakedॢ
Thanks~ Mickey, maroonclown05 :flower2: First, sorry for my poor english... Maroonclown05... Size of my blue tang is 1.5cm(0.4inch) at first... now it's 4cm(1.6inch)... yellow tang is 5cm(1.9inch)... When they will be more big, I will give all another person have larger tank than mine... and then I'll try to keep new fish...(goby, blenny, etc...or same tangs) but no problem to swim in my tank...until now You know... my lion fish is so big~ it's 8cm(3inch)... I tried to give it another person before... but anyone don't want... because lion fish have a eat only live food(like a guppy or black molly). I have a plan to buy a new biger tank of same maker. This plan is for only lion fish... The new setting tank(in second thread) is for gobies... And I do a 20+% water change three week...always... That is good for low nitrate... (you see...my tank parameter...) so I have no algae problem... almost... I don't use any additions... I wish to help you by my reply... Thanks again for your interest about my tank... Happy nano-reefing~! :1roll: Link to comment
fishymissy
Whew....I am glad to hear that you are moving the lionfish! Even though your tank is beautiful, the potential adult size of the fish was kind of bothering me. One other thing, it is very easy to train your lionfish to take "dead" foods. And it's better for him too! If you like, I will e-mail you the way to switch him over. I have a volitan myself, in a 90g, and he eats everything I feed him, even flake foods!!! I wish you the very best with your tank! Link to comment
awakedॢ
thank you... fishymissy you are so happy~ My lionfish takes only guppy... because I train my lion to take it from the first... He don't interest in other foods except live foods... used to take live foods... and I will buy new tank about 80gal...soon... I want to know your way to switch... If you are okay, you will e-mail me... My e-mail address is eiri@korea.com Thank you for your advice~ :1roll: and sorry my poor english... Link to comment

awakedॢ
thanks... I had a MH lighting before... Lighting system was one of MH and three VHO... but sold it. because MH occur to raise the temperature... and then I set the PC... PC is good at nano-reef...I think... My 23gal. tank is lack of lighting at present... Planning is setting the 6* PC... but I can't... Canopy is not enough to set like that... I have a new plan to upgrade lighting... add two PC... Seafan is beautiful... I do like it... but it's so difficult... Flower pot is not long life...I heard... I expect that it will live about 6 months... It is so sad... Link to comment
