flyingjeff Posted January 4, 2007 Share Posted January 4, 2007 I assume it is to prevent the bioballs from blocking too much of the grate on the bottom of the chamber feeding the return pump. When I modded my second chamber into a fuge, I left it in place. Link to comment
stallen Posted January 4, 2007 Share Posted January 4, 2007 Yeah, it's only free floating when it doesn't have any weight on it. I put rubble under that grate and then put a couple peices of rubble on top of the grate to hold it down. Then my cheato on top of that. Link to comment
