BustytheSnowMaam Posted March 19, 2003 Share Posted March 19, 2003 Hi, I bought 2 peppermint shrimp about a week ago to rid my tank of aiptasia and so far they have done a wonderful job. When I looked at one of them today, I noticed it had small black patches on its body. Anyone ever seen this before? Thanks, Tasha Link to comment
Bucket o Chum Posted March 19, 2003 Share Posted March 19, 2003 It could just be diatoms growing on the shell. This might happen right before the shrimp molts because it doesn't clean the shell. But this could be a sign of disease. Oh well at least pep shrimps are cheap! Link to comment
