Mr. Microscope Posted January 9, 2012 Share Posted January 9, 2012 Check it out! I walked past my tank today and saw this: Looks like the one next to it wanted to get in on the action too. I have no idea how it wrangled this. The asterina is upside-down and seems to be immobile. This is probably the biggest one I've seen. I've been watching this starfish roam around the tank for a few months now. It has seven legs and from the looks of it, it was about to split (two mouths). Just when I've thought the reef couldn't get more interesting, something like this pops up. I guess I should start feeding these things bigger food! Link to comment

One day one of my florida rics had a good 2.5" piece of serpent star leg hanging out of it's mouth. I had to pull it out Link to comment
