Joe Dirt Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 Gena, I think you're forgetting that I grew up in Florida. My family moved to Jacksonville when I was 1 and I lived there until I was 22. I only moved to California for grad school a little under 2 years ago. Florida is great but I was ready for a change of pace, so I won't be moving back anytime soon. I'm enjoying northern CA. I am jealous of the coral Randi can get, but I've had pretty decent local stuff here until Atlantis Aquarium decided to close. That's where most of my coral has come from so I'm super annoyed. I can't deal with that I have a yellow lab and she is stupid like him. Kinda hit home for me...... As for the people mostly, it's called Boca Raton which in Spanish means "Mouth of the Rat". Made me laugh so hard when I learned that. We here in Lake Worth and West Palm have another not appropriate name for them Boca $#%ches is another one. People in Boca have $$$$$$ and don't spend it on anything really. Mostly Older people and their only kids. I have friends that live in Boca but not many. The girl I worked with at the last job was from Boca and used to yell at me when I said Thank You to her. Guess she had some issues..... Only daughter of a Minister and etc etc, was engaged to be engaged you get the picture. It's weird how certain areas can all be somewhat classified by the way people act. Link to comment

My husband grew up in Gainesville! Small world! I remember we talked about this. Because I lived in Gainesville for 4 years for undergrad. Not 100% I still need to get the rest of the silicone but I took the tape off the ones that were cured and they are firmly in place. Just have to seal the last 2 sides on the return one and then the outside seals (the ones that point out to the front) and paint both backs black. So essited! Told A since we are both home this weekend I want to get the stain on the stand and finish the tanks/plumb them. He said okay so we will Git 'er done this weekend guys, and the move should be next weekend. That will be a long one. I may enlist the help of a friends fiancee who has had reef tanks before and works for fish and game. He was really interested, and is SUPER jelly of the SPS and the soon to be clam! When I posted the pics of the clams from the LFS my fiend said he was on FB and started screaming NO NO NO guess he is very jelly! This is the TS people, the ones I had all the growth with! FlCandy Posted May 6, 2012 Author Share Posted May 6, 2012 build pics coming up. SUMP and Stand are done, just have to sand and stain it, paint the backs of the tanks black and plumb this sucker! All is almost ready to go! Cutting the front All cut, sanding the edges. Almost done! Sorry for the tracers it got dark and the camera is a PITA for night shots. Super Blurry! From behind! So that's all the work for tonight. More tomorrow, on a side note I am having the same issue Tron did with his Purple Plasma. No PE and it seems to be losing it's color. ORA is just not the quality it claims to be. Really sad, I cut it back and dipped it hoping to same something. Link to comment
