nanoreef-R
Great looking tank! The clowns prefer that pot to the GBTAs? Link to comment
Euphyllia
Great looking tank! The clowns prefer that pot to the GBTAs? Thanks! There is a 6" GBTA directly under them that is closed. It opens up covering their pot's opening, so the anemone acts kind of like a wall they only they can go through. Who knows what they do inside that pot... Link to comment

Euphyllia
Great looking tank! The clowns prefer that pot to the GBTAs? I apologize, I actually take back what I said. My anemone moved around last, probably because it was annoyed by the clowns, and I added a Rose Anemone today. I was watching them a few minutes ago, and there they were: swimming right next to the pot. I guess they have become addicted to pot... get it? I made a joke. I'll post some pictures of the RBTA tomorrow. I found it while birthday shipping. It was 6", deep red, and $50! There were like 4, but I opted to get 1 and see how it does. That is the first RBTA that I've seen in a year or more under $100+. Link to comment
Euphyllia
Wahoo! Finally! My Clownfish pair laid eggs! Yesterday afternoon when I came home from school, the female had a tattered anal fin. I looked closer and I saw the male slightly harassing her. He was super excited and violently cleaning the rock. She joined in, and the started to poop, but it wasn't poop, it was breeding tubes! They laid eggs withing 30 minutes of their tubes coming down! The male has been fanning the constantly and the eggs are 1/2" under my 10" RBTA! The male still sleeps on them, so I guess they're good eggs! I made a video for YouTube and I took lots of pictures! Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkM36m7G8os Here are the pictures! There is a nice patch of 150 or so orange eggs. This is their first spawn and the eggs are fertilized so they did a nice job! I do plan on starting to rear the fry, but I'm going to wait until they have a routine going so that I don't disturb them and make them stop. I'll start rearing in a few months and will be sure to let everyone know when I do. Thanks for reading! Link to comment

Euphyllia
I think my Bangai Cardinalfish got eaten... Now that I think of it I haven't seen him in the past week. I checked behind the rocks and he's not there. Could my clownfish have killed him? They're big enough and strong enough and they would work together in a pair... they're also big enough to finish eating him in a few days. Link to comment
Euphyllia
New pix / FTS? There are up-to-date pics in the first post, but the FTS is not up to date. I'll try and get a FTS soon. Here's some more photos: Cool zoa that will be moved under my new tank with MH soon... Larangitis (left) & Nemonia (right) Link to comment

Euphyllia
Nice tank! Those palys in your last post look like VDM's. They're very close to them but they aren't. The zoas in the pic I posted are extremely bright orange/pink and the little "tentacles" on the skirts are fatter and brighter in color. I actually kinda like these a lot better than VDM's.
