It was supposed to be the wife's tank to hold her BW clowns and few frags. But due o traveling, economy, downsizing, etc. I ended up selling my 220 and 65 so this one became the main tank out of the sudden. I wanted to increase water volume, have a proper sump, increase skimming, try T5's (always MH until now) and have a project to work with in general so. Cardiff (original set up) Running 20K 150 MH + 2xT5 Was not really pleased with water movement, aquascaping, etc FTS: Empty: Back: New Location (equipment closet behind the wall) Inside the closet (55 G RO reservoir and 55 G salt mixing station) RO: DIY Kalk Reactor (6"x24") Sump 1 (skimmer, sock, maybe frags) 20 Tall: Sump 2 (media rack) Fudge, Return: DIY Media Reactors (Cabon and GFO) 4.5"x12" Plumbed out of DIY manifold: Link to comment

There is something about DIY that I found very rewarding. I miss the Metal Halide but I think with LED supplements the T5 will do really good, plus I LOVE the temperatures right now. I need to supplement the NEP with either more intense actinic bulbs or LED add on to get the effect I'm looking for. sal9012 Posted April 22, 2010 Author Share Posted April 22, 2010 Happy skimmer: Kedds and Teal rings really happy: Had to bring these down, to the bottom of the tank, I kind of like the new color actual color (another frag of the same) This one can get a rest from the clown (trying to host it) These they lighted in color quiet a bit also (bottom of the tank) The perpetrator Happy mom I have to sell some of this (it's taking over) Also morphed in color but tremendous growth Stop with the tank.....I'm watching you: Link to comment

Maria Thank you maria, I need some of you macros Yeah, blastos and the acans are my favorites. Pooch you mean the furry miniature devil? That's my daughter's and it's a real menace but is supper attached to me and her. He's like 2 pounds and half of that is hair Love your tank by the way Link to comment

It's a lot bigger now. I really need to update this . I got a lot coming You sure do have a lot of plumbing. Nice setup.
