bbales
and... sad sad news, my clown wartskin angler died today =( I think we fed him too much, because before he died he threw up and it looked like he was trying to throw up again, have any of you had the same issue? I actually cried ='( Link to comment
I Ate A Cake
Sorry about the loss. But, your tanks looks great. I for one am always a fan of 12G eclipses. I have no idea why. Maybe because they generally need a lot of work to be made into a reef tank. How old are the tanks? Link to comment

How old are the tanks? thanks! and yea the 12g was my first reef tank its about a year and a half, the RSM is about a year, the 125g is about 6months, and the 30g breeder is about 2 months =) I actually still have the stock filter on the 12g eclipse so its not the cleanest of tanks maybe one day ill upgrade to like a aquaclear or something Link to comment
bbales
ok so now that I dont have the wartskin anylonger in the 30 breeder, I want to hear some ideas for a coral safe, but not necessarily other fish safe newbie for the 30 breeder. I dont want to have any jumpers tho, was thinking about seahorses, since i do have 2 gulf pipefish in there and the current doesnt seem to be too overwhelming for them. but i was also considering a goby pistol pair, only problem is there is a small mantis hitchhiker but he only gets to be about 2 inches max so not sure about that anyways lets hear some ideas!? asting
a pistol shrimp goby pair isn't always active, and not necessarily a centerpiece for a 30 gal. I've always liked hawkfish! Link to comment

bbales
great photos. What are you shooting with? a pentax optio v20, but i DO NOT recommend it for aquarium pics, the white balance is horrible, as it close up macros normally and so i have very few shots I can actually use. thanks tho! i appreciate the appreciation! Great pictures, great livestock, great looking tanks. Keep the pics coming! haha will do def need to take some of the carpenter wrasse and the newest addition a beautiful male SQUARE ANTHIAS! thanks ! a pistol shrimp goby pair isn't always active, and not necessarily a centerpiece for a 30 gal.I've always liked hawkfish! hawkfish are awesome, so awesome that we are planning to get one for the 125g tho, maybe it would be a good choice tho thanks for the input. bbales
MY CARPENTERS WRASSE WENT CARPET SURFING! =( sucks, he jumped through the back opening of my hood, behind the tank, found him too late. so now I am scared to get another, but I do want to get a wrasse that is beneficial to have in the reef tank because of their pest eating characteristicss, any suggestions, as sadly now I do not need to worry about compatability with my carpenters, blah so discouraging to lose fish Link to comment
Orangutran
yeah losing fish sucks! it's not just the cost, but the fact that their life depends on you, so you feel responsible. Link to comment
