I've been talking about this tank in my other thread... But, I feel its time it has its own little section of NR.

It's a used tank... used? or green? ;) just trying to help the environment..

It's not set up here yet, but this is whats laying all over my garage....

The tank itself is a standard drilled Oceanic... 48"x24"x25"

A custom built stand and hood.

Custom lighting:

2 T5's for Actnics

2 250w MH

14 nocturnal blue LEDs (only part of the lights I added in)

Custom Sump - 40"x12"x18(i think)"

Skimmer (not sure of the type or model yet, I havent picked it up yet)

Ozonizer - Certizon 50

Sump Pump (not sure of the make and model)

Extra impeller for the sump pump

2 new ballasts

Rio Aqua Pump 800 for the Ozonizer

All new filter media for the sump (carbon, filter pad, etc)

All of the plumping pipes, hoses, etc

2 Koralia 4's

2 Koralia 3's

2 visitherm 300w Heaters

6 bags of live sand

bucket of instant ocean salt

RO/DI 100 gpd Portable unit with an extra set of filters

2 36 gallon trash cans

Egg crate

Moon Light controller

Wave Maker

2 90L power head pumps (that were recommended for the wave maker)

80 Lb of cured LR (currently in the trash cans)

2 Power Strips

useless without pictures right?

So it's going to be one giant zoa garden? Is that the plan? Sounds awesome.

I started cleaning out my box of "reef junk" all random pieces and parts from items i've bought since I started reefing....

I've got 6 bags of biomax ceramic cylinders.... can these be used as frag plugs?

That's pretty cool actually never thought of it. But from what I remember isn't that stuff very porous and easily tossed around by the current?

so.. im waiting one more day to get the stand.

the sump was made to fit into the stand... and it doesnt come out without removing a wall... one of the plates between the sump chamber was loose and the guy resealed it today.

he recommends it doesnt get moved for atleast 24 hours.

he was suppose to get it done saturday.
