Moonlight Hagen Marina Micro Led Aquarium Light (2x)

Water flow 6890l/h (1722gph) (2 x Tunze 6025 2500l/h + AquaClear 110 1890l/h)

7.9kg of Live Rock

4kg of coral substrate

Aquamedic Miniflotor Skimmer (temp. deactivated) fed by woodstone and air pump Dymax AP700 with 2 x 200l/h output)

Weekly Partial Water Change of around 10% (6 litres) using natural sea water + Daily water reposition with distilled water

Adding controlled dosages of Tropic Marin's Tripple Buffer and Bio Calcium, as well as dripping kalk

Glass Cleaning with Hagen Marina Algae Magnet

Tank looks good except for that aptasia problem!

Yup, the aiptasias are hard to neutralize... got two Seticaudata shrimps to see if they handle them ;)

 

Would also like to improve the tank filtration. Considering getting an HOB or cannister filter/skilter... maybe an AC110...

Meanwhile, got new frags: an Euphyllia Glabrescens and a "rosy" Amplexidiscus Sp. Also got a Bubbletip Anemone (Entacmaea Quadricolor), yellowish and greenish, for the clowns.

Setup Update...

 

05/Jan/2009 - Replaced Hailea lamps (T5HO 24W : Sunshine 10000K + Extra Reef actinic) which were working for aroung a year by two ATI Aquablue Special new lamps.

 

09/Jan - The Glabrescens frag, in a few previous days closed and died... I suspect from "Brown Jelly" :( but not sure...
