jerzsky
so im planning on breaking my 7.5 pico down and putting it all into my 40b. i might even scrap building the 90gal i was planning for a while, prob till i get my own crib. i even like how it looks on my 90 gal stand. i was planning on trying to do a patch reef replica on my 90gal. but since it will be a while before that tank is started, my 40b will be my experiment for now. any ques or comments greatly appreciated!! thanx all!!! happy dance gon on over here!!! jerzsky
finally lugged everything into my room from the garage. waters in and salt is mixing! in a lil while i will start to scape with the rock i got from bill. and then i need your help!! after the rock is in and i add the sand, whats the easiest...wait scratch that...rewind...the safest way to bring over my rocks, coral, inverts, and goby from my pico??? thanx! spazizz
+1 on chromis, they would be really cool. (blues) The only fish id choose from your list would be the sixline. But personally id get a blue madarin. Edit:: dont tear down your old tank, wait until the new one cycles out. Plus why would you wanna get rid of a mature system??? Just frag things out from it.. Link to comment
jerzsky
well the only thing im removing from the pico is the inverts(actually ill prob leave them) but gonna take out the rock corals and my goby. i prob will make a frag rack and make some money off that lil tanky! but on the other hand i might take her down, im running outta room in here! haha a 55gal fresh a 20 gal fresh, 40b, and a 7.5 pico...gettin squishy in here! i would love a mandarin, but i hate when things dont do well, and making sure he has enough copepods is a task on its own, and i know they are pesky eaters...and if any, ill prob only get a very small cycle. the rock is cured, onlky a couple days outta a mature tank. thank you for your insight! more please! spazizz
mandarins couldnt solely survive on the pod population in a tank but if youre not ready to train one onto frozen or any other type of food then i can understand not wanting one. Link to comment
jerzsky
is it hard to train? cause ive heard of a lot of people having trouble wit dem.. Link to comment
