got2envy Posted April 9, 2008 Share Posted April 9, 2008 I just keep going ..bigger lol here are some pics of the 75g..i am sumpless and use natural sea water 2x maxijet 900's w/ Eco mods aquaclear 110 for carbon and shtuff Remora skimmer 80 lbs live rock 70lbs carribsea live sand 4x 54 watt T-5 actinic geismann bulbs w/ individual reflectors, not overdriven Nova extreme 48" 1x 10000k, 2x 460nm, 1x 420 nm tank April 09 tank July 08 tank as of June 08 this is a pic when i tried w/ 2x 6500k bulbs but it was to white for meh..so they are all actinic now looks more purple than it is..i h8 my camera flow is crazy Thanks for looking! got2envy Posted April 9, 2008 Author Share Posted April 9, 2008 yeah it was pretty crammed in my 40..that rock was also covered with zoas..the mushrooms won the battle..i have a few that dropped off that i found attched on some snail shell in the back of the 40 when i broke it down lol..hopefully everything will be happier..i don't think i will add any more rock..that was my mistake in the 40..i ran outta room fast my frogspawn got so big that i cut in 2..it then got very upset and is now recovering..i thought i was gonna lose it but it's recovering nicely my fish are like weeee! riding the current Link to comment

got2envy Posted April 17, 2008 Author Share Posted April 17, 2008 ok so tank was too purple for me with actinics I like bluer tanks so i now have 2x blue plus, 1x 18000k and 1x true actinic and the 36" fixture still has the same bulbs 1x10000k 1x420nm 2x 460nm also added the 2 Koralias..i really do need to soak them in some vinegar lol and the pre skimmer box..started getting some build up on the surface..so far so good, I am doing a 10g waterchange 2morrow still using natural sea water and got a regal tang a few days ago..still waiting on my flame angel and also changed background to blue..i liked the blue on my 40 here is a few shots with all 8 T-5's on side veiw a close shot long veiw here is the tank with just the 36" fixture..going into the dusk light cycle here it is with the last 2x 460nm before moonlights come on thanks for looking! got2envy Posted April 23, 2008 Author Share Posted April 23, 2008 I got this frag..it looks like a colt coral but the LFS guy had no idea so ..one guy says he knows it's from fiji and non-photsynthetic..any ideas..it's so purdy..a hot pink/purple here it is closed up and open anybody got any ideas..is a carnation coral?
