Tigahboy Posted January 1, 2006 Author Share Posted January 1, 2006 ygpm. but basically it runs continuously. and when the water level reaches a certain point in the above surge tank, there's enough pressure on the drain pipe to cause a siphon. The siphon is what drives the surge. Then after it drains the above tank, it has to wait until the pump refills the top tank to form the siphon again. Link to comment

Tigahboy Posted January 2, 2006 Author Share Posted January 2, 2006 Yet another awsome vid... hey, I may have missed it in the fourty something pages of this thread but have you figured out an ATO for this system? no ATO at the moment. my original idea of putting a float switch in the left-side chamber didn't work out since the plumbing took up all the room. so have to figure something else out. for now I have the pump on a remote control. I turn it off, see where the water level is in stasis, then add RO/DI accordingly. so just manually doin it. I top-off about 1 cup a day. Link to comment
