Kogut
Dude. We just got 2 starckii (sp) damsels in @ the store... You need 1 of those. No joke. Link to comment
Maxvan1
I think you should add some more actinic, looks a bit yellow (of couse I like the blue-ish look). Could be the picture/my-computer though. Link to comment
Fishfreak218
i think it is is LR....it looks void of corraline...was it base rock??? Link to comment
Tigahboy
Zoogirl - big polyps are palythoas. Max - My white balance is taking out the blue. But I agree, overall it isn't as blue as my other tanks. Fishfreak - LR was cooked in a bin w/ no lights for a few months. All the coralline was gone by the end of the process. So startin from scratch w/ the LR. Link to comment
Fishfreak218
ohhh....ok....why did you cook the rock???? any reason..i know some people do with SPS and BB tanks so extra sand stuff doesnt come off the rock....but you dont have BB tank or SPS Link to comment
Tigahboy
but I do have black sand....too much junk falling onto the black sand will look blah. Link to comment
ZooGirl
It's funny, those palys look like monsters! I guess it's because the tank is small even though it looks like it's 15 gallons. I cooked my rocks a bit too. It helps with the black sand. less siphoning gunk out of the tank! Link to comment

Tigahboy
broke up a piece of LR on the far right and formed a little cave. also have a lil more room now to put corals on the sandbed. (still a lil cloudy in the pic) Link to comment
ZooGirl
Oh it looks nice. I like the cave, much lighter visually. I really love this tank. It's the biggest 2.5 pico I've seen! Link to comment
Tigahboy
Thanks, ZooGirl. =) Link to comment

Cesar
okay. maybe time to try out a background? haha. I was about to ask that dude. What's up with a back ground? I mean it looks freakin awesome but some blue back there would be even better. Link to comment
Travis
Looks great man, but I think you could use a BG also Link to comment
Tigahboy
yeah. I agree. I'll try out a background soon. I left it clear back initially since the tank is so freakin thin - 5" - so I thought leaving it open would maybe add some depth to the tank. Link to comment
Tigahboy
yeah. actually visited the LFS today (been awhile since I've shopped at an LFS). and they had a teal/bluish one too (like icenine's). Maybe I should've picked up that one as well. Link to comment
