Tigah, I know you already said you are using Power Director 4, but how are you importing the video? Do you record digitally or does it convert?

I'm using my Nikon 5700 to tape the vids. It converts into .mov files and I import them into the program in that format.

hey, nice tank! just a couple questions on your setup, do you have a small CL in addition to the surge? it looks like you have 2 outlets into the tank, i was just wondering about that, and also, on your surge siphon pipe, do you have a siphon break hole somewhere, so that it doesnt keep sucking when the water level drops all the way down? or i guess you could have just beveled the bottom of it, i just remembered about that.

Sweet! I've got a Nikon 8800 so hopefully that will work out great!

haha. it's just a matter of lighting difference (his PCs vs my T5s) and white balance settings (mine are set to make the photos slightly more on the yellow-side than blue side).

Nice job on the color correction Travis.

I think both frags are equally lovely! :D

Snoop, that toe is freakin' gnarly. I love the short depth of field though, makes it look like Fred Flintstone's foot. :P

To get “Fred Flintstone's foot” you don’t select the depth of field, i.e. the aperture, you instead use a wide angle lens. This is why traditional portraiture lenses are on the tele side of normal. It keeps the nose from getting big.
