The worst that can happen is you don't make the cutt off but if there is still a shot, it's worth it if it's worth it to you It's totally up to you though! He said in another thread that the midnight cut off will actually be a day or two just to make sure everyone sees it. And really, I'd hate to see anyone miss out on the contest, especially when they've already started ordering their stuff. I'd be willing to give everyone who's been posting threads so far another day to get in personally. They've been showing the interest in the matter and the new entrants stopped a few days ago. I think that Gil should give people a chance to get their posts up especially considering there was such short notice on the running tank post deadline anyway! I was out all day w/o internet access, but I did manage to drive out to Pomona and Steve at SoCal was kind enough to put in some overtime to rush the tank completion. But now that I just read the check-in thread stuff and how we gotta have the tank actually running w/ LR and water by today, my effort and Steve's might've been a waste. we'll see what goes down. Anyway, here's the pics of the pico. Thanks again to Steve at Socalcreations.com for putting forth the extra effort to get this tank done on time! P.S. I don't think you have to have your rock in necessarily. Gil certainly can't expect everyone to see the tank threads in just a couple hours on one day.
