metrokat
+1. You're being pretty ruthless to your best friend kat. I would have cried by now. I'm kinda ruthless in general actually. That's why I have a beating stick for the tank. But I was getting tired of being beat down and ridiculed every time I asked for a second opinion. Quote Link to comment
Looselyhuman
I'm new around here and want to stay out of it, but a cautious +1 also. Esp. because I feel like I may have somehow come between you guys w/my advice at a bad moment. Zeph knows his stuff but he's juggling a lot of tanks it seems like, plus you guys have a little communication issue. Don't let that jeopardize your friendship. IMHO. metrokat
OH MY GOD! WHAT DO I HAVE IN MY TANK! I knew I had a yellow limpet but it never had a fluffy ball gown! It looks like a cross between a snail, a limpet and a nudi! Quote Link to comment
patback
Awesome looking. I wonder what it is any how long your had it before noticing it. Quote Link to comment
MikeTR
keyhole limpet is my guess.. one of the reasons I like reefing.. You've stared at your tank for countless hours over the past 6 months and somehow you still find new critters. Edited September 5, 2012 by MikeTR Quote Link to comment
Looselyhuman
Wow! Fleshy Limpet it looks ike: http://www.melevsreef.com/id/fleshy_limpet.html Wonder if you can keep it alive. What have you introduced lately? 1 Quote Link to comment
metrokat
I've had it for a long time, it used to live in my pico, but it did not have the skirt that it does now. I had contacted John Maloney about it asking if yellow limpets exist and he had confirmed they do. I've never seen the skirt on it before! Also, I put all contents from my pico into the sump so not sure how this one ended up in the display. Amazing. Quote Link to comment
Deleted User 3
I'll have to make one of these for RC maybe Oh i should do that !: ) Except i have horrible feet & no cool shoes Quote Link to comment
metrokat
As for keeping it alive, it's been with me I would say probably 5-6 months and growing (no other limpets I had have survived) so it's eating sometime or other. My pico was a pretty neglected tank to be honest and it survived that. Quote Link to comment

There are not many on google image search for "fleshy limpet" so you have a duty to science. Hopefully it wasn't the neglect that it was loving... Quote Link to comment
