I have been keeping an eye on my paly morph for you and I don't think the paly's are going to make it. It seems like they do the funky morph thing and then melt away. How big are his frags and how many heads on the zoas?(That must sound dirty to non-reefers) all the frags are on the ocean wonder 3/4" frag plugs some frags are larger than others. Some corals are just hard to get sizeable frags from. My intent for the mass fragging i did was huge variety so this time around I fragged everything in my tank, even if i could only get a small piece. Things like the birds nest branching sps are easier to frag so you'll get better sized frags. some of the encrusting are going to less than the size of a dime. it varies. The zoas vary too. its basically what i can get off the colonies without damaging the frag or the conlony. sometimes it a single polyp sometimes its 3 or 4 polyps. I just grabbed this rock to frag up today and will probably have 3-4polyp frags.. maybe some with as many as 10 polyps. basically depends on how the cookie crumbles but i've had great luck with the hardiness of my frags and if something doesn't make it i can usually replace it the next time the person does an order Edited February 29, 2012 by TinyGiant Quote Link to comment
