AJ_Tsin
OMG OMG OMG Here are the first few shots of the brand new ATI Powermodule fixture, taken with an iPhone4. I had just added CoralSnow to the tank so the water isn't as clear. More to come, a better FTS and a few nicer coral photos under the light coming soon. I ended up going with a more blue looking bulb array: ATI Blue + ATI Blue + ATI Blue + K-Z Fiji Purple ATI Aquablue Special ATI Blue + ATI Blue + ATI Blue + Dude i love your tank. Thanks Fmfa, I appreciate it! Edited February 10, 2011 by AJ_Tsin Quote Link to comment

AJ_Tsin
Uh WAHWAH WEEWAH! Very nice! Indeed it is. What an amazing fixture. Solid flawless design and the power cords and hanging kit are even engineered well. My colonies look completely different. Zoas and Acans look radioactive lol. I also have a ton of water movement so a bit of reflection and shimmer is still there. I plan on adding a strip of adhesive blue LEDs to the fixture as nightlighting as well but I am debating this as it looks soo nice already. Quote Link to comment
AJ_Tsin
Along with the awesome light, I also installed the Beginnings of my ReefKeeper System I hung the Controller and the PowerUnit on a Piece of Plywood above the sump. There is Plenty of room for expansion as eventually I will have a lot more going through this system. For now its just the base Reefkeeper Lite Package and I only programmed 2x Heaters. Can't decide what to use the other two ports for right now. Maybe the lights but that means I will have to run the power through the floor I think later I will buy another PC4 unit and run the BUS cable upstairs to avoid that. - A. Quote Link to comment

AJ_Tsin
Wow that's a nice fixture! Yea it's awesome worth every penny I'd say. Thanks Animal. how wide is the 8bulb fixture? i was going back and forth with a 6bulb and my AI fixture Dimensions : L23" x W17.5" x H2.3" that's why I got it because it is squarelike which works nicely for my reef. your strawberry crab never touched your coral before??? Never. I got it in a group order months ago and out of about 25 crabs I have heard absolutely no reports otherwise. These things are reef safe as far as I am concerned. Quote Link to comment
AJ_Tsin
I'll take a few more shots of the tank with the new lighting tonight! Quote Link to comment
Zer0
OMG! Massive new add-ons to your system dude! That light is amazing. I REALLY wish i could go with an ATI fixture but they don't make 20" fixtures. Damn them all! Just have to stick with the halide.. :/ That reefkeeper system looks awesome! Wish i had the money for stuff like that. Really looking forward to pics of the tank with the T5's over it! So excited! Quote Link to comment

Paleoreef103
Stupid sexy Powermodule! I love the switch! I do love halides, but powermodules are in a class of their own. Quote Link to comment

I love the switch! I do love halides, but powermodules are in a class of their own. I would have to agree. I was reluctant to switch at first and after debating for about a year I finally made a move. I think its was a good decision only time will tell now. Quote Link to comment

Completely worth it, absolutely amazing. Wow I don't even think I have read back through the entire thread ever. Glad you read, glad the work is becoming a resource and glad you enjoyed. Thanks for the awesome compliments. The photos do look awesome on an iPhone 4. All the ones recently taken of the ATI were taken with an iPhone. Hopefully your data plan didn't get crushed with all my photos lol. There's gotta be a couple hundred mb of photos alone Anyways thanks again. Quote Link to comment

Thanks mdanny So far so good. It certainly is different and will take some time to get used to, as I have had that halide for 5 or 6 years, however its awesome to have the corals look the way they did when I picked them out at the store... I think they both have pros and cons the design alone and presence in the living room makes me like this fixture. Coral colours already look nicer but time will tell. I am interested to see how the SPS colours up in what used to be shadowy sections. Quote Link to comment
AJ_Tsin
Looks like I finally found someone locally with Blue Purple and Red Hornets, may get some rare zoas in here pretty soon! Quote Link to comment
