Thanks!! But I dont know what they are 😆 .. I got them from a little janky lfs that has a little biocube as their "frag" tank. Owner is super cool but into selling giant freshwater fish and not much on the salty side , but if he sees cheap frags when he picks up his stock from L.A. he grabs them and sells them for like 15 bucks.. got this one and it was a little more red at first but now its turning orange and has that blue color.. kinda cool for 15 bucks🤷‍♂️...  actually I bought 2 of them. One is getting super huge like 3.5 inches and the other one in this photo has turned into about 8 shrooms... got to the point I had to cut some off bc I was afraid it would take over .

For sure . I'll let you know if they start going crazy again.. for now they are under control.  I think its bc my tank has been going through some issues. Got those ironed out so maybe they will take off.. few months back I even had a few let go and kinda attach on the sand bed.. those ended up in the trash 😅... kinda scared of them bc I have had shrooms take over a tank before...

That's some impressive growth from a what looks like a rhodactus species, I've always heard it's the metallic or solid-colored ones with an even-disk you have to watch out for.
Guess ST. Thomas, Yumas, and well - all-the-Ric's are the best-bets for slow growth XD

I wonder if they started out as supermans but morphed orange for whatever reason in your system, a shame mushrooms are known for color-changing as they might go back red in other folk's tanks.

Yea corals are weird. Here is the other one that is just weird.. it stayed red but is on the other side of my tank... now I do have a kessil narrow on one side and wide version in the other.. maybe that's the difference 🤷‍♂️

I mean, that looks more like a superman, but even that one looks more orange than the bright and deep red superman's are known for.
It's not uncommon for them to turn orangeish and I think there's a strain from ausland or some other whereabouts with a different-name known for being orange, could be it really is just a matter of PAR/spectrum.

Corals are definitely weird lol, my forest-fire chips which survived dino's and a tank crash now look like more like a strawberry-shortcake - bright pink with an ivory-white base.

In any case they're beautiful.
