Whats sad is you live on the west coast and I am in Ohio you have access to the REALY "cool" stuff LOL! Kent Cora-Accel Kent Micro-Vert Kent Concentrated Iodine Kent Strontium and Molybdenum Kent essential ellement B ionic parts 1 and 2 Seachem Reef Plus Sea Chem Reef Carbonate ( rarely) Seachem Reef Plus Calcium stays around 460-475. DKH/ALK stays around 13 - 16 PH is a very stable 8.3 - .4 Temp stays around 80 deg F Pro, look at the 3rd to last pic its a frag from the mother colony. Its actualy much greener like the mother colony. I had to use a different camera setting because its closer to the halides in the pic. Link to comment
The Propagator
Oh and I use Oceanic sea salt ONLY. I change 12 gallons of water once a month now. I did go almost 7 months with no water change at all though. FULLY STOCKED. I freaked out every time I thought about it so I started doing it again LOL! I had no adverse effect what so ever though with no water changes. IF YOU HAVE A TANK UNDER 29G and are thinking of trying this DONT DO IT !!! It wont work for you. Link to comment

mahi mahi boy
You stopped a kid from throwing a rock at it and recaulked a 100g tank.... that's priceless. That tank is awesome, looking at all those frags never gets old. I think I actually like the eggcrate look over the natural reef look. The tank feeds the fish, gotta love that. Take more of those time-lapse photos, I like to see how much you can get them to grow. Put them in an animated .gif. Link to comment

The Propagator
I'll keep one back for you EZ. Yeah it was a PITA but it turned out ok. No dedicated fish room yet. Just a basement full of tanks and other crap. LOL! A fish room is on the list though. I dont have very many time lapsed photos, but I'll start a new series with what I have now. Link to comment

PhatSOB
all those pics make me want to move so that I can have access to that many corals. I bet you have more corals in one tanks and definately your home then there are in eastern Canada. There is one good store in Nova Scotia that carries quite a bit but you even make them look like a garage hobbyist selling his leftovers. Link to comment
Fireface
Wow! Awesome prop tank! Approximatley how many frags do you produce per month do you produce? The reason I ask is I'll be setting up a prop tank around that size in the near future. Daniel Link to comment
The Propagator
It takes a while for a good size colony of any given coral to grow out in order to frag from. Acropora,,, Ehh I would say I get around 1/8th" growth every two - three weeks. Zoanthids, Those bastages sprout new polyps each week almost ! Paly's , around 1 to 2 polyps per 3 - 4 weeks. (most all palys are slow growers) Ecrusting gorgonian. I KID YOU NOT at least 1/2" per WEEK. Yellow polyps, at least 2 polyps per week. Acans, around 2 polyps per month or so. Digitatas, about 1/4" a friggi'n week! LOL! Since I aminto propogation , as well as selling frags, I try to stay away from things that grow to slowly, unless its somthing I am going to keep stricly for my self and watch it grow. Thanks for the compliments guys and gals! You are to kind!! TP Link to comment
