REEFCRUSHER
Well here comes an update, even if its a lame one. Got my pump tonight chicago electric 190 GPH from the local harbor freight tools for a whopping $9.99. I have had one of these pumps in the fuge on my 55 Gal. for over a year and never had a problem. Also got my manifold all figured out. Now if I could just get away form the computer Link to comment

REEFCRUSHER
Mike, Yes, its fairly easy although nerveracking. The key is slow even pressure at a very low speed, and keep the area around the hole cool. As far as I know most tanks under 20 gal. arn't tempered, and the bigger ones its only the bottem thats tempered. Hope this helps. Link to comment
REEFCRUSHER
UPDATE! First an FTS. Here is my new red headed goby. So far he eats any thing I feed I'm happy hes not pickey. I've also got a ton of pods growing in the fuge for him. Close up of the aquascaping. I kinda like the "pile o sticks" look but I'm not 100% sure it will stay like this. Suggestions welcome. Ann
Well, I like the 'pile of sticks', it looks natural. How's the tank getting along now, any updates? Best regards Ann Link to comment
