-E- Posted January 22, 2017 Share Posted January 22, 2017 Trying to figure out the best photoperiod for sps color in 20L mixed reef. Running 4x39w T5 eight inches above waterline. Also have TrueLumen LED strips (total of 10x3w 453nm, and 2x3w 12K). Right now, the LEDs come on first and go off last (sunrise/sunset) for 12 hrs. Should I change them to only come on for 6 hrs at midday? Link to comment
-E- Posted January 22, 2017 Author Share Posted January 22, 2017 Lots of green and brown algae but still been adding/re-scaping live sand and halfway dosing Restor once per week. Hoping to have enough light intensity and duration for sps while getting coralline to start coming back. Link to comment
