Just curious what other hobbies everybody has?

This is my primary one right now but I used to be active brewing beer and hand tying flies for fly fishing.

Fishing both salt and freshwater. i still enjoy staying in shape as im getting older, being in california i hike, kayak and travel all around.

Its crazy how much time you guys put into tying flies, a partner at work does it here for himself and friends.

Music. Marching band, orchestras. I have some friends in DCI- one just got a contract with Jersey Surf. I hope to do that someday, too.

Photography! I love to shoot landscapes but I occasionally hold session for photoshoot professionally. The biggest difference between the two hobbies is the camera and gears won't die but the corals/fishes will :)

I used to crochet, now do very little, I don't think I started anything the last 2 yrs. I used to watch NASCAR but now have only smart tv & no cable. Now I enjoy practicing at the shooting range, something new since last July when I took a conceal class. I love the smell of gun powder. Just reminds me of cap guns. But w/ 3 tanks at home I'm busy with those otherwise.

I seem to have landed all of the expensive hobbies. I scuba dive, fresh and saltwater fishing. Also huge into photography both on land and underwater. I also do some photo shoots for families and models.

Watching airplanes when I am able to get to the airport. Train spotting as well, which is easier since freight tracks go right down the center of town and only 1 block from my apartment.

Used to travel a lot when it was affordable to do, but rare now.

Who can afford other hobbies?

I'll see myself out... :P

Outdoor stuff (Winter): hockey/skating, skiing, snowshoeing. Travel. Gaming less than my friends would want. Tinkering/projects.

Been coding lately. Also container vegetable gardening in the summer. Not sure I'll do that again this summer though coz I hate lugging water every morning to water them.

Actually on second thoughts, I can probably use my python water changer to water them. I'll still have to hook it up and drain and unhook it every morning. :/

All things on the water... kayak fishing (Hobie 13 fishing kayak), sea kayaking (Northwest Discover 18), powerboating (Hobie Power Skiff) and competitive sailing (Laser & J/30). Since it's winter right now, reefkeeping will have to hold me over. :D

Taking care of all my animals, Reading, Guitar---anything music actually, especially concerts, gardening, canning, crafting.....would love to travel more but the last few years we have been pumping money into redoing the entire house so that has been keeping me busy.

I used to tie many of my own flies. My eyesight is pretty terrible now, so I can only tie saltwater flies... big clousers and deceivers or big freshwater streamers and buggers.

Parrot keeping, Remote controll-nitro, landscaping, saltwater fishing, kayaking, planted tanks getting into saltwater

I didn't see the comma at first I thought you said remote controll-nitro landscaping, I thought to my self holy s*** what is that!?!?

I need to get back into it. I don't get nearly as much time as I would like in the summer to fly fish anymore but tying the flies even without using them is fun and rewarding.

Now that my wife has been retired and I'm semi-retired, we enjoy the RV lifestyle. This what we bought for each other for Christmas:

How do you manage to make both rv's and reefing work together??

Easy Peazy Lemon Squeezy

I have an auto-feeder, 4 pump doser, ATO for topping off evaporated water, and I have the best light in the world with a NanoBox light with bluefish controller from Dave. Pretty much takes care of everything and it's self sufficient.

Took 2 weeks off last year to go to Yellowstone and all made it fine. This was our view from our campsite:

Reading, video games (especially battlefield 3 and now 1), and Netflix. Wow I need more hobbies (does Netflix even count?).

Yes, it's a hobby.
