debbeach13
to have a cabinet that had a drawer for the bottom shelf. I know having it support the weight of a sump makes it unrealistic. But being able to pull it out do what you got to do and slide it back would be so great. Link to comment

dandelion
When I look at the premise stands at petsmart I always wondered how particle boards can hold such a big tank. So it may not be impossible if you reinforce the bottom and have support on the sides and back? to have a cabinet that had a drawer for the bottom shelf. debbeach13
Maybe in addition to the side sliders found on drawers you could put wheels/casters on the bottom. Some of the industrial style hold some serious weight. I think it would be worth the amount of space that would take up. Link to comment
squamptonbc
You may have to custom build the stand, but doing such a thing is certainly possible. Link to comment
debbeach13
Agreed that would be easier than trying to mod a prebuilt stand. Ok someone get on this. HaHa Link to comment
graemevw
Have you seen how much weight the sliding draws in mechanics tool cabinets take? Slide out shelf for the sump is easily possible with the right materials and ball bearing runners. Link to comment
