Canadianeh
My 1" ocellaris was in the tank by him self for a couple of weeks before i introduced a 1.5" black ice snowflake into the tank. I witnessed my ocellaris doing his seizure thing which from I understand indicates that he submits to the bigger female one. On the first week or so, they were together all the time. In the past week, I noticed that they are not together anymore eventhough he is still doing his seizure once in a while, even worst the female snowflake does not want to share the pellet food with him. I am using two little fish ring to keep the pellet on one spot. Did they get divorce? Is this normal? Can I reunite them back together? Link to comment

Canadianeh
clowns are never going to "share" food. clowns are strange. sounds normal. in what world are people reuniting fish? In a world where hope still exist and strong where marriage is not only seen as status on paper but it is seen as deeper and sacred seal of relationship between two beings. Sorry...it was meant a joke of course....you can't reunite fish....seriously Link to comment

vlangel
Anyway, divorce is better than murder, right? JK, I had a mated clown pair for years, (they laid eggs twice every month) but she treated him horrible. That was just the way they related. Link to comment
NinjaMask
I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I recently got 2 small clowns. 1 became very bold within a few days, but the other remains shy and just hides in the shadows all day, only coming out for food. Does anyone know if I could coax it into being bolder? Link to comment
