Swing2Harmony
I did a little re-scaping and the next day I realized my Royal Gramma has developed some white spots on its tail. I'm not sure if it's tail rot from the stress or it was somehow damaged while I was moving the rocks around It's the only fish in the tank and it was added 2 weeks ago to a well established 10 gallon. It's eating well, but I'm not sure where to go from here. Link to comment
ajmckay
I don't see the white spots but I see what looks like it could be mild bacterial fin rot. I would observe carefully for now. Try to maintain optimal water quality in the meantime in the hopes that the fish's immune system rids itself of the infection. If it continues to progress you may need to set up a temporary hospital tank and treat with antibiotics. Link to comment
