tigerman66
This was sold to me as White Frog Spawn. Do you agree? It pretty much looks like this everyday for 2 months. At night it shrivels up a lot. Link to comment
ajmckay
This would be a hammer coral (Euphyllia ancora). Same genus as frogspawn and nearly identical care requirements. It's normal for it to shrivel up at night. Link to comment
Canadianeh
that's hammer for sure. They do shrivel during night time if you turn off the DT lights. Link to comment
jedimasterben
This would be a hammer coral (Euphyllia ancora). It's normal for it to shrivel up at night. It's actually E. parancora, since it is a branching species Link to comment
jestep
^ what they said. There are 2 types of hammers though, anchora is called a wall hammer and paraancora is a branching hammer. For small ones, it can be difficult to tell the difference. As far as care goes, branching hammers are interchangeable with branching frogspawn in my experience. Anchora hammers are quite a bit more temperamental and require a more stable environment. Link to comment
