It's not a coral. It's an aiptasia anemone and a pest. You're going to want to get it out of your tank. If you search aiptasia in the forum here there will be lots of advice on how to kill it.

Yep Fishy get some aptasia X and zap it......its a common problem we all get to deal with.

+1. And if you want a natural predator, you can look into peppermint shrimp or berghia nudibranch, etc...

If you can pull the rock out of the tank, just scrape it off with a tooth brush and rinse the area with freshwater.

Use aiptasia x.

 

You take a risk with peppermint shrimp, they may not eat it and may go after corals.

The problem with the berghias is you need a bunch of aiptasia in the tank for them to work. they only eat aiptasia so with only one in the tank, that berghia will probably die in short order before it finds it.
