Jkirsten21
Thanks for the help! I wanted to make sure I got it right so that I fed it properly! Seems to be doing well, been in the tank for a week and I was right in putting it on an outcrop of rock away from other corals. I have another guest in my tank, not sure on this one. It is only visible when the lights are out and I have no idea on this one. Thought it was aptasia but doesn't look like any pictures of it. Sorry for the not the best pics, only thing I have is an iPhone. Thank you in advance again for all help!! Thoughts? Link to comment
ReefWeeds
Not aiptasia. Looks like he tentacles from a hidden cup coral. Do you see a corallite under the tentacles? Link to comment
markalot
Looks like what I call a glass anemone. I've had a small colony since I first started reefing in 2012. They don't like light so will tend to spread or move to darker locations. As far as I can tell they do no harm. Link to comment
Clown79
Ball anemone. I have a few, have done no harm. Link to comment
ajmckay
+1 what is sometimes called a Ball Anemone. It's actually a corallimorph (same order as mushroom corals) and pretty common. Do a search for Pseudocorynactis Caribbeorum Link to comment
