Chromis and feeding habbit's

Hi,

I have manage to get 3 small green/blue chromis last week ( for what i had investigated they should be kept in odd numbers ).

Sincerely at the moment i have no issue with them. After some troubles with the okinawa goby and the clowns, this ones are super easy so far. Only issue was on the first night to discover that they were completely missing and they reappeared next morning from a rock LOL.

My only concern is to know how much do they really eat. They are just small pig's with a crazy swimming speed :|. Is this normal since they are more active fishes than the other two species that i have or should i be carefull if they cannot manage the quantity like the other ones?

Thanks in advance again :)

It very well could, chromis are a shoaling fish and will form a pecking order or hierarchy often times in reef tanks the one lowest on the totem pole gets picked on and doesn't get to eat as well as the others.

I feed my tro 2x a day for the most part if I'm working they only get fed once a day. They are healthy and fat.

That's great they do really well in some tanks and not so well in others, I'm just trying to give suggestions as to what I would do for the most chance of success.

What size is your tank and how long has it been set up.

NP its a 42 gallons and its been running since April. There is a pecking order with them but the smallest one has no problem eating.
