SonRK
Hey guys, Thought about adding Biopellets (Ordered BRS biopellets), and I already have a reactor for it. Everything I've read up on Biopellets says you MUST run a skimmer with it. No biggie, I have 2 skimmers that I'm going to pick from. Now there's just one issue. I run a Nuvo 30L, so space is limited in the back. I'll be using the following: IM MiniMax Reactor with BRS BioPellets, and either the Tunze 9004, or the Hydor Slim Skim Nano. If I use the Tunze 9004, it fits into Chamber 1, so the water will go from the overflow, to the Tunze, then to the reactor. If I go with the Hydor, then I can put the reactor in Chamber 1 and then its output goes into the Hydor Skimmer. Decisions, decisions! Link to comment
Veng
As long as you have reasonable turnover through your sump it won't matter. Link to comment
rfalk
I am running biopellets and skimmer in same tank (30L) - I have skimmer and reactor in chamber 2 on opposite sides and works well for me. I am using the coral box s150 ($60) and I would recommend it. Link to comment
