LbulletM
Just trying to figure out if it will take over the tank or not :-) Link to comment
Boggers
yes bad-Bryopis hard to tell for sure, but possibly Fern Codium as well if circular and repetitive rings. Link to comment
Droy008
Yup looks a lot like bryopsis. Pain in the arse to get rid of. Link to comment
LbulletM
I had another thread for some other IDs that has slowly turned into identifying everything in my tank haha. They suggested I start this thread for the macro, but then someone came up with Caulerpa Verticillata. What do you guys think? I think it looks pretty much identical. Link to comment
Clown79
Look up fuzzy caulerpa, thats another name its known by. Also Bryopsidales, Caulerpaceae, it looks like that as well. Either way its invasive. Manual removal outside of the tank and blue legged hermits to eat it Link to comment
LbulletM
Thanks, yet again, clown. Planning on blue legs, but I guess I'll go ahead and remove most of it! Link to comment

LbulletM
too bad its a pest. thats really pretty looking. Right?! I was enjoying it until I realized that both rocks that had it were getting pretty much covered with it. Fortunately, it hasn't spread to other rocks. Finally getting the uglies in the form of diatoms, so I ordered a CUC yesterday, so should receive it tomorrow. Asked to make sure at least one blue leg was included to take care of this. :-) Link to comment
Clown79
Its going to take manual removal or it will continue to spread onto substrate. Hermits will help control it but you need to get rid of it Link to comment
LbulletM
Meant to mention that I did remove most of it. Link to comment
