R_MC
Hi all, I run a pretty high flow system and would like to find some fish that would enjoy it. Any suggestions for high flow fish? (Bare bottom 70g mixed reef with a gyre 250) Link to comment
1.0reef
Anthias, flasher/fairy wrasse, tilefish, some dartfish, bristletooth/smaller zebrasoma tangs, fang blennies, most angelfish, chromis, basically any open water fish will love lots of flow. Although most reef fish like basslets could live in your tank just fine. Link to comment
Clown79
I have a high flow tank, my clowns enjoy it. Link to comment
Nanomaniac
Most species will adapt just fine to high water movement, but I would stick with more open water species like previously suggested. Link to comment

When I turned it up a few extra notches for a few days my blacklined fang blenny absolutely loved it. Funny thing is, so did my yellow assesor and my tailspot blenny. All 3 would spend hours just hanging out in the flow together like they were on treadmills next to one another at the gym. Unfortunately, it was shifting my sand around a bit too much so I had to drop the flow back down. Link to comment
