blue cloves, I wanna say they grow fast but pose no real threat

Yeah that's my understanding as well, that whether or not they are a pest all depends on if one appreciates the aesthetic.

Those things can be invasive also so be careful.......I have always liked tem but they can be worse than xenia or GSP.

To try and prevent it from covering every thing. Place it by itself not touching the rest of the rock. That is if all the polyp's are on one rock. In one of my old tanks. I had it on one rock and thought it looks great.

That would be problematic since they are growing on a base rock keystone, which kind of means the entire structure would collapse entirely if I were to remove it.

If you don't like them you can stick a piece of epoxy on it, to cover and hopefully kill it. Or just cover it with another life of rock if you can to cut its light and it will die off.

They are pretty. Just frag them when they start growing too much.

I don't mind hem at all.

As long as they aren't as evil as GSP's that overgrow everything with a thick carpet made of bubble gum.

i love these things, sadly i haven't had much luck growing them.
