AlmightyJoshaeus
Hello all! I am considering installing a small group of sexy shrimp in my mother's 10 gallon nano that I am setting up. However, the tank will almost certainly have a fish in it, and I don't want to get sexy shrimp if the fish they would cohabit with would feel inclined to snack on them (I am very familiar with how poorly freshwater shrimp tend to cohabit with most fish). Any fish that would be comfortable in a 10 gallon AND not have a huge chance of devouring sexy shrimp? Also, any other shrimp that would work in a 10 gallon? Thankx Link to comment
Clown79
Alot of sw fish won't harm/eat the shrimp. Dottybacks, hawkish, triggers, and some wrasse are the ones off the top of my head that aren't safe. For a 10g you could do a clown goby, a watchman goby, a firefish, purple firefish. Link to comment
beav9900
I had a group of them for years. Clowns, damsels, gobies, flame angel, blenny, Christmas wrasse. No one paid attention to them. Took in a pair of flame cardinals. Ate all 6 in two days. Link to comment
