debbeach13
Considering the low range phosphate and the calcium units. Is that the correct phosphate checker? Who has one, do you love it? What other options are there? Is there any such thing for mag testing? Link to comment
Sal10104
I use Hanna checkers. Don't dissapoint me at all. Easy to use and give accurate enough results. Link to comment
debbeach13
Thanks for the reply Sal. Which ones do you have? Link to comment
bob115
I've heard and have used my buddy's calcium checker, and you have to be suuuuuper careful as its a fairly large dilution. I have the ULR phosphorus checker and its fairly easy to use, just make sure you keep the 3 minute time out in mind when you're adding reagent and mixing. Link to comment

I ended with Red Sea Pro kits for both and won't look back. Link to comment
RayWhisperer
Agreed. Phos was fairly accurate and consistent compared to salifert. Cal was never consistent, nor accurate. Admittedly, it's been 3 or 4 years. So, they may have changed something. I don't know. Link to comment
