Hanna checker - reliable results?

I've heard and have used my buddy's calcium checker, and you have to be suuuuuper careful as its a fairly large dilution.

I have the ULR phosphorus checker and its fairly easy to use, just make sure you keep the 3 minute time out in mind when you're adding reagent and mixing.

Considering the low range phosphate and the calcium units. Is that the correct phosphate checker? Who has one, do you love it? What other options are there? Is there any such thing for mag testing?

I had both checkers from hanna. Phosphate was OK, but calcium was all over the place. I ended with Red Sea Pro kits for both and won't look back.

Agreed. Phos was fairly accurate and consistent compared to salifert. Cal was never consistent, nor accurate.

Admittedly, it's been 3 or 4 years. So, they may have changed something. I don't know.
