Thanks Z DONT DO IT. but in all seriousness you need to be careful, i used biopellets and jsut messed my system up. you need to plumb the discharge to a very large skimmer, and have a very heavy bio-load or youll end up stripping the water completely and cause other problems. I have enough trouble keeping the chamber of death clean on my RSM130. I guess I will need to fibd another route to decrease nitrates aside from 10-20% weekly wc. Link to comment

I guess I will need to fibd another route to decrease nitrates aside from 10-20% weekly wc. depends, skimmers are great, i personally use a refugium and a skimmer, but most small tanks, water changes are the best bet. take a look at what you are putting into your tank as well, it might be needlessly adding nutrients.
