Canadianeh
Has anyone ever cut Marco rocks or similar rocks? I wonder how hard are they? BRSTV did video on it using a hexsaw and cut a rock in 45 seconds. Anyone has experience? I would like to know if they are really hard to cut. Link to comment
Nanoreefwanabe
Dry they are a little tricky. .. wet they are fairly soft and cut pretty easy. .. you can easily do it with a hack saw. .. or a tile saw.. Link to comment
VW_TDI_02
Hack saw does the job pretty easily. Band saw would be even easier if you have one. Like everything in this hobby, just take it nice and slow and it should be pretty easy. I would spend a few dollars and get a brand new/clean blade. Link to comment
Canadianeh
I did use a hacksaw. Marco rocks are not as easy as I imagined to cut. Hacksaw did the job. Thanks guys! Link to comment

I think they did this with Pukani dry rock (which is what I'm currently working with). Are they similar? I got smart and asked for the rocks to be flat on one side, which made it much easier. Geauxlsu
Maybe i need to try a different blade on my hacksaw Link to comment
ajmckay
Use a hack saw with a lower tooth count will cut faster but take more effort per stroke. Pukani was cake to hack saw even dry. Reef saver/marco is a bit denser but IME still not too hard. Link to comment
