aibocyrus
I just found this today on my Flame angel. I am PRAYING it's not what I think it is. I'm hoping it's just sand as the fish does poke around on the rocks and sand comes up after he picks. Also have not noticed heavy breathing, rubbing, or discomfort in the fish. This is also the only spot on the whole body. Please tell me this isn't Ich. Thanks for looking and any information you might have. Link to comment
krusing93
might be what must never be spoken of.... JK might be spec of sand and it might be... ich... i would quarantine the fish just to be safe and potentially look into a medicine Link to comment

ajmckay
Can't see the pics (my problem) but I agree - try to figure out what the deal is asap. Observe very carefully and post anything you find that could indicate it is or is not a parasite. QT/hospital tank is obviously the way to go. And if you're able to pick up some cupramine which is a copper based medication that's a bit easier on fish that are sensitive to copper (like dwarf angels). It's not a bad thing to have around anyways. Link to comment
