flatlandreefer
Does anybody have a radial file fish in their reef? How reef safe are these guys? I know they have the potential to pick at coral but how likely is this and how much damage would this actually cause? I think they are very cool and definitely a unique fish! Link to comment
Boggers
Love mine, and I have had no issues in my mixed reef. Like to sleep in my gorgs or Xenia. Link to comment
William
My pair will occasionally grab food out of my gorgs polyps, but that is it, and there is no damage done Link to comment
flatlandreefer
Good to hear! I am strongly considering one as my next fish Link to comment

I think that would be cool but I already have a pair of clowns so I think I will probably just stick with one. I clicked on the link to your tank build, your files are really neat! Link to comment

flatlandreefer
How big is your nano? I have a lagoon 25. I could probably get away with it if I caught my yellow watchman goby and gave him away, not very pleased with him as I hardly ever see him. It could be kind of neat to have two sets of paired fish. This is my plan if I can find a female Red Bandtail Waspish. I do not think you have reached your stocking max even with the YWG. Our systems are about the same size and I have 6 fish with no algae problems. Do you have a skimmer? Are you carbon dosing? One thing that may help you is to incorporate some marinepure plates/balls/blocks in your system as I feel my marinepure plate really helps with my NO3 export, and therefore prevents most algae growth. I'm trying not to get to my stock max and don't really want to run a skimmer if I can avoid it, but the tank is still very young so who knows where I will end up. I do run carbon in bags but I do not dose anything currently. Link to comment

Although they are tiny, they do eat a lot. Link to comment
