Canadianeh
for clownfish, firefish, shrimp, and other CUC? Any specific kind and brand name? Link to comment
Mariaface
Depending on the size of the clowns, I'd choose Omega One Micro Pellets? And then a mix of frozen/live foods - LRS nano, PE/Hikari mysis, black worms, etc. Link to comment
Boggers
My tank gets LRS reef frenzy or Nano (nano is just chopped up more) Hikari brine shrimp PE mysis occasionally fish eggs or some type of small food, but the clowns may ignore that one. Link to comment
WelcomeD
Frozen mysis shrimp + New Life Spectrum Thera-A Small Fish 0.5mm Sinking Salt/Freshwater Pellets Link to comment
Canadianeh
I noticed that you all have few different ones for one tank. Is there all in one type of food for the type of livestock that I want to have? Link to comment

Variety is usually best for filling in any nutritional gaps. Link to comment
ajmckay
I make batches of 1 cube cyclopeeze 3 cubes PE Mysis 3 cubes Hikari mega-marine 2 cubes omega one reef formula Gets divided up into a bunch of tiny containers for around 15 days worth. When I go to feed I'll add in a few NLS pellets to the mix as well. I like these brands so far. SF Bay Mysis is also good. I haven't used a fish food that I don't like/trust. Link to comment

Cencalfishguy56
Lol some of you spoil your fish! I use NLS micro pellets, New Era aegis pellets, and San Fran mysis, also sometimes chop up shrimp very fine Link to comment
squamptonbc
Omega One marine flakes PE mysis Chopped clam LRS nano Not all daily, but these are the foods I rotate through. Link to comment
ajmckay
so you use one or more cubes from each brands and mash them together? Yeah I just stick all the cubes in a cup with a little bit of tank water, let them thaw a little, then portion out. I usually buy the Mysis and the mega marine and cyclopeeze but someone getting out of the hobby gave me the reef formula otherwise I probably wouldn't use it since I'm not as much of a fan of the gel binder. lkoechle
If you go to your local asian mart (like HMart) you can get seafood for super cheap. I would make my own batch with squid, clams, oysters, shrimp, seaweed (with nothing added) and white fish throw it in the blender with RO water, blend it up and then mix in flying fish and sweet fish roe. Total cost for supplied: $30 food made? 4 1 gallon freezer bags pounded flat like Rod's. I would break off a piece and thaw it in the fridge with SELCO Boost. Beat that price and quality. I dare ya I would alternate days with PE Mysis and this mix. and fed my rabbitfish her own seaweed daily. This was for my 85 mind you, but I plan on doing the same thing with my nano. Link to comment

I used to do the same when I lived in a big city that had Asian food stores, I no longer live in a region with Asian food stores, so I stopped making my own as its cost prohibitive and only sea food grocery stores really sell are cooked shrimp and salmon anyhow, they don't sell any squid, clams and the like,. Usually mix it up, pellets in the morning & mysis in the evening or two days pellets then two days mysis just for some variety. Link to comment

I'd say .5mm is a suitable size if you're looking to feed both those fish, and they're on the small side. Link to comment
Clown79
0.5mm is good. Both fish like that size Link to comment
