PaulMrks Posted October 12, 2016 Share Posted October 12, 2016 Well one of my clownfish died. Coral banded shrimp chased it even swam to the top and nipped him. Took a big chunk out of his body. So I pulled the shrimp out and dropped it off to Petco. Clownfish died the following morning. The other is grieving looking everywhere for its friend. Their were both still babies so i don't think they were a mated pair but they never seperated. It's so bad the fire fish is staying close to the clown as if he can sense the clownfish's sadness. I was very attached to these clowns. I actually planned my tank around them. My fault with that stupid shrimp. I don't wanna replace the clown to be replacing it. It's just so sad seeing the clown Grieve the way it is. How long should I wait before adding a smaller osc clown for him? Link to comment
krusing93 Posted October 12, 2016 Share Posted October 12, 2016 doesn't matter how long you wait since you took the shrimp out.... might have a hard time with two clowns after the current clown is established in the tank but if its young you should be fine.... Link to comment
